3. I take this opportunity to express my profound
gratitude and deep regards to Vijayalaxmi ma’am
(science teacher) and also to Pankaj Sharma
ma’am (principal ma’am) , who gave me a golden
opportunity to make a project on “Conservation
of Water”.
I would also like to thanks my parents, friends,
who guided, supported and encouraged me in my
project . I made this project not only for securing
good marks but also for my personal experience.

5. The water is one of the most indispensable
resources for the life in the land, and
nevertheless the man wastes it without
measure of a form or other one . The best
way to offsetting this problem is
concientizar to the persons on the rational
utilization of this resource.
6. Water (chemical formula: H2O) is a
transparent fluid which forms the
world's streams, lakes, oceans and
rain, and is the major constituent of
the fluids of living things. As a
chemical compound, a water
molecule contains one oxygen and
two hydrogen atoms that are
connected by covalent bonds.

11. With two thirds of the earth's surface covered
by water and the human body consisting of 75
percent of it, it is evidently clear that water is one
of the prime elements responsible for life on earth.
Water circulates through the land just as it does
through the human body, transporting, dissolving,
replenishing nutrients and organic matter, while
carrying away waste material. Further in the body,
it regulates the activities of fluids, tissues, cells,
lymph, blood and glandular secretions. Therefore ,
save a drop of water and you can save your lives….

15. Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies
(e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater).
This form of environmental degradation occurs when
pollutants are directly or indirectly discharged into
water bodies without adequate treatment to remove
harmful compounds.
16.
17. Water conservation encompasses the
policies, strategies and activities to
manage fresh water as a sustainable
resource, to protect the water
environment, and to meet current and
future human demand. Population,
household size and growth and
affluence all affect how much water is
used.
20. Water is very essential for life on earth . We
need to conserve it and aware people spread
awareness about-
1. The ways to conserve water.
2. Minimize or proper use of water .
3.Reduce wastage of in daily activities.
