The “imperial century” took place between 1815 and 1914.
400 million people and 10,000,000 square miles were added to
the British Empire.
The empire had no serious rivals after the Napoleon victory.
Britain dominated world trade during this period.
Empire was linked together by telegraph cables called All Red
Line.

3. The end of the Empire
The empire reached its height in 1920’s and 1930’s
By the 1960’s most of the empire ruled themselves
Links with Britain as members of the Commonwealth were kept.
