Course Description Pathology is scientific study of disease. This course provides the understanding of pathogenesis of disease which is
important to understand the mechanisms of drug action and therapeutic indications.

B. AIM: To provide the student with the knowledge of the abnormal functioning of the body systems caused by disease, injury and microorganisms
C. The OBJECTIVES of the course are to:
1. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the body’s reaction to disease and injury;
2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of signs and symptoms of abnormal functioning of the body systems
