• Using background footage from a
corridor at college would be good to
show young people using their phones
while talking about statistics and facts
about their use of technology.
• Getting this footage would also be easier
as it’s an easy place to access for us to
film.
• The footage we would choose to use
would probably be the one that features
the most people on their phones.
3. BACKGROUND FOOTAGE
• Using this location of a center of town for
background footage will be useful as people
of all ages pass here and hopefully we will be
able to get shots of them using their phones.
• We will try and capture footage of people of
all ages on their phones as this fits the topic
of my documentary.
• Hopefully we will capture people of all ages
using their phones as this will help our point
that older people are also starting to use
technology.
4. VOX POP
• We would use this location for
vox pop of older people.
• This is the best location to get
older people for us.
• We might also catch people on
their phone in the background
which would work well and fit
with our documentary.
5. EXPERT
• The mise-en-scene of this will show the
expert as in an environment that is
specific to our documentary, which will
make the audience trust them.
• Apple is also a well known company
which means that most people who
will watch our documentary will either
have or know someone with an Apple
product, this will also make them
trustworthy to the viewer.
6. EXPERT
• The mise-en-scene of the expert being
surrounded by technology will make
them seem educated on their topic and
the viewer might trust them more.
