2. Lately, Hong Kong has accumulated too much rubbish, due to the few recycling points in
the city. In addition, the Beijing ban has been added, which no longer allows importing
24 types of solid waste.The recent introduction of a tax will make citizens pay around 0.11 Hong
Kong dollars (just over 1 euro cent) for each kg of rubbish collected.
This method was very effective in other cities such as South Korea where they
managed to reduce the elimination of waste by more than 30%, but activists don´t
