2. Pau and Marc Gasol
Pau and Marc Gasol are brothers, both are professional basketball players.They
play in different teams,but both in the same league: NBA. Pau is 5 years older
than Marc. But both were born in the same place, Barcelona.
3. Pau Gasol
Pau Gasol was born in Barcelona, the 6 of july of 1980.Pau first tried his luck in rugby and
football, but then he decided to play basketball. He first play in a school team and, later, in
Cornellà, the same club were his mother played before.But in June 2001 he made the leap
to the United States to play in the NBA. He is 2,16 meters tall and he is considered one the
best basketball player of Spain.
4. Marc Gasol
Marc was born in Barcelona the 29 of january of 1985.He started playing at the Cornellà
Basketball Club.He take part of a school team playing from 2001 to 2003, being the
maximum figure of a team. In 2007, he was chosen in the second round of the NBA draft.
Marc Gasol was the ninth Spanish player to play in the NBA. He is a little lower than his
brother with 2.11 m high but that didn’t prevent him from being one of the best pivots of his
team
