First I normalized the sound I was to
manipulate, to ensure that the
manipulation would be more
apparent on the defining sections of
the audio.
The second effect I applied to this audio
was to use a shifter to decrease ‘octave’ to 12 semitones and increase ‘depth’ to 18
semitones.
Here I used a VST plugin to create a reverb for the audio. I
set the ‘wet’ sound to be lower in volume compared to the
‘dry’ sound to create an echo, and then set the pre-reverb
to 200 milliseconds so that the echo actually occurs before
the dry audio.
