The London Ramblers organise walks in and around London for people of all ages through various local groups. There are around 5,000 members across nine walking groups that organise led walks from 2 to 20 miles long in London's parks and surrounding areas. Members can join walks automatically through their local group or choose from specialist groups oriented towards those in their 20s-30s or mid-30s to early 50s.

2. Where we walk
We organise led walks in London’s many wonderful green spaces
from Hampstead Heath and the Grand Union Canal to the Royal
Parks, Epsom Forest and the Thames Path, as well as urban walks
including the annual Films on Foot walks to coincide with the BFI
London Film Festival. We also walk in beautiful areas near London
such as the Surrey Hills, Chilterns and South Coast.
Get fit, get walking
Walking in a group is fun, sociable and a great way to get fit, lose
weight and to live longer! Did you know that a brisk one mile walk
burns around 100 calories? Scientific research shows that it also
lowers blood pressure, reduces high cholesterol and the risk of
heart disease, strokes, osteoporosis and certain cancers.
No car needed
All our walks are accessible by public transport and generally start
and finish at a London tube or train station.
