1)Student helper
•in the Dragon Boat Water Parade of Tai O
As a GROUP:
•Assisting the tourist
•Setting up the Venue
•Participating in some field visits

As an INDIVIDUAL:

•Joining dragon boat races

A) Dealing with interpersonal relationship
How can we facilitate our relationship ?
• Grasp the chance of lunch time

B) Local culture
• As many Hong Kong people do not familiarize with or do not even know local culture
Through different projects and functions:
• Some information and knowledge which are not provided in the textbooks can be transmitted
e.g. Culture about Wai 圍村
The importance of protect and reserve our culture
• Every Cultural event own its value
e.g. Hungry Ghost Festival Ceremony

• we were involved in some project which was with Drainage Service Department and
Antiquities Advisory Board.

A)Various and precious film that recording
different local celebration in Hong Kong
such as Ghost Festival, Hau Wong birthday
B)Documents
government public information
annual report, poster , leaflet to translate into English.
13. How can we make use of the organization’s
resources?
C) Books, Authority
• Annual Books, booklet, authority
scanning, translation and data inserting
• First-hand information (field visit)
• Second-hand information (recordings, books, internet)

15. 1) We are appointed to handle some resources about the declaration of ICH during office time
2) Making them into softcopy by photographing and scanning to preserve is our work
3) During this process, we have a chance to read the content of the resources ( Kungfu, Drama and
Medical skills)
4) We need to arrange these softcopies in accordance with their requirements
5) We can learn more about our local culture through reading these information and know the
importance of culture conservation from their seriousness.
16. “ Dynamic ” Learning

17. 1) Being a student helper is the main job during the dragon boat water parade of Tai O
2) In addition to tourists, we have a chance to visit some old temples in Tai O during the parade
3) SCRC provided sightseeing boats for us to travel to different field point
4) We asked for some local residents about the situation of Tai O since Professor Liu has a good
relationship with them
5) We can familiarize with this “Venice of Orient” through interaction with local residents more
