Just passing by to the creative experimenter “If you’re lucky enough to be different, don’t change.” Alyson Logel’s POL 2011
Inquiry During the cell phone project I asked myself: ,[object Object]
Am I doing my share of the work?
How can I improve this and make it more interesting?	I wanted to give my all into my project and make it the best I could. I was always looking to improve things or make them more creative.,[object Object]
This project benefited the 7th and 8th graders at the school because they now get to use their cell phones at lunch.,[object Object]
It has changed my point of view by showing me that other people can have good idea too .
I really cared about having cell phones in school so I put my effort, time, and hard work into it and it changed our school.“Don’t tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.”

Editor's Notes

  1. I used to be a student who would just got the work done and turned it in on time without being creative. I now experiment on new ways I can present my information and how to make it creative and interesting. I also put meaning and feeling behind my work. I like the quote “If your lucky enough to be different, don’t change” because if you are different you shouldn’t change because people love you for who you are. It also helps discribes me as a learner because I sometimes don’t try on things because it’s the cool thing to do but I need to show off who I am and I am a creative experimenter. I am always learning by experimenting what goes right and what goes wrong.
  2. I chose this because instead of asking yourself why ask why not? I asked myself why I had to do this project but then I realized I needed to ask why not do this project my friends and I could benefit from it!
  3. Even though you may just be one person you can make a difference. This picture represents significance because every little piece is important and if you are missing just one your puzzle wont be complete.
  4. It is really important to see other peoples perspective on things. They might have a good idea too. The quote “Don’t tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.” represents perspective for me because one person might believe that they will never achieve anything because they are just one person. My perspective you may be one person but you can still make a difference. One person may see the sky as the limit but others don’t have limits.
  5. You need to show that you understand things. You also need to be able to tell fact for opinion. If you are researching for a project you need to have facts and not opinions.
  6. I would always ask my math teachers, “ what does this have to to with real life? Now I see that we take on math everyday in our lives. We just don’t recognize the math when we see it. This picture represents connection because it connects a building to math in reality.
  7. I hope to work with others I haven’t worked with before and learn some of their ideas and how they think.
  8. I have learned teamwork skills and life skills that will stick with me in the future. I know everyone has their own opinion and their own ideas. I know there are always going to be pros and cons.
