Garbí intends to spend 2016 celebrating William Shakespeare
as our man: the bard of Avon, born in the Warwickshire
market town in 1564, and who died there 400 years ago.

Escola Garbí commemorates 400 years since the death of
William Shakespeare; this special anniversary year is a truly
unique opportunity to celebrate the lasting legacy of the
world's greatest playwright.

6. Workshops and Activities
Over the course of April, our teachers will introduce Shakespeare
to Kindergaten, Primary and Secondary students, suggesting
suitable classroom activities, including storytelling, drawing
and creative writing.
It will also present a children’s version of The Midsummer
Night’s Dream with moments of performance of Romeo and
Juliet being brought to life by some students actors.
