  2. 2. Geography of India <ul><li>India is part of Asia, It is next to China and Pakistan. </li></ul><ul><li>It is a large country with several cities and towns. It also has some very remote country. </li></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>The “father of India” was called Gandhi. </li></ul><ul><li>He was a lawyer, but when he came to India on a visit, he was appalled at the amount poverty and wanted to change it. </li></ul><ul><li>He made great changes to India and millions of people attended his funeral. </li></ul>Indian History
  4. 4. Flag <ul><li>The Indian flag has three, equal, horizontal bars, Saffron, White and Green. </li></ul><ul><li>It also has a dark blue wheel-“the wheel of Law”- in the centre. It has 24 spokes, each representing an hour in the day. </li></ul>
