Editor's Notes
Good afternoon. This is Liz Brown, VP of Creative Services at Direct Response Solutions. Thank you for joining us for today’s webinar – Gazing Into The Crystal Ball: Individual Giving in 2009. Today’s economic circumstances are unsettling and are producing so much uncertainty. But this is also a time when your organization’s missions really come to the fore and when people can fully appreciate what the non profit sector contributes to our society. So as corporations pull back, and foundations struggle, we feel that the role of individual giving will be of growing importance. So today, we are going to share some of what we are seeing, some of what others are experiencing and see what picture emerges from our crystal ball. A few housekeeping details before we begin. Throughout the presentation we will have attendees muted, so if you’d like to ask a question you can type it on the screen, or wait until the end when we will unmute attendees and open the discussion to all. And now I’d like to introduce our chief prognosticator and VP of Fundraising Programs, Marcia Scowcroft. Marcia.
