Dine With Us ontstond door op zoek te gaan naar oplossingen om nieuwe migranten hun eigen plek in België te laten vinden. Via human centered design technieken kwam dit concept naar voor. De bedenkers (Elizabeth Verhetsel, Pieter Duysburgh, Siska Hoebeeck en Ruben Loodts) zoeken nu naar mogelijkheden om Dine With Us-etentjes werkelijkheid te maken. Een gelijkaardig project in Zweden, Invitations Departementet, toont aan dat het kan.
