Gr 9 Living Museum - REFLECTION!!!!

If 1 is the lowest & 10 is the highest, what grade would you give
                            yourself for:

  1) the information in your speech: 8

  2) the information in your A3 posters: 9

  3) the way you did your speech (your presentation): 9

  4) the way your A3 posters looked (its presentation): 10

  5) the amount you enjoyed yourself during that 1 hour of
     presenting: 9

Explain your reasons for the grades you gave yourself above
for:

  1) the information in your speech:

The reason I gave myself a 8 is because I didn’t had enough time
to say everything I wanted to in 3 minutes, and I forgot my speech
sometimes. So I didn’t gave every guests that came to my space a
full speech.

  2) the information in your A3 posters:

I focused on how big is the font and pictures more than how
many information it’s up on my poster, so I only put two important
major events on the poster which did really help my guests to know
my explorer before listen to my speech.
3) the way you did your speech (your presentation):

I used different levels of English for different ages of
students and teachers. I tried to use english in a low level for
grade two, because I thought if I use english in a high level
they might won’t understand what I was talking about. I also
asked them questions about if they understand what I was
saying, so that I can explain to them if they didn’t know. For
teachers, I tried to speak everything in the best way. I also
answered all my guests’s questions patiently.

  4) the way your A3 posters looked (its presentation):

My A3 posters looked really neat, and there were many
informations that helped guests to know my explorer really well.

  5) the amount you enjoyed yourself during that 1 hour of
     presenting:

I really did enjoyed my presentation. Even though, I was
really nervous at the start because I was scared if I made mistakes
on my speech or english. But it was getting better and better every
time that people come.

If you could change anything about what YOU did, what would
it be? WHY?

I think my presentation could be better if I practice my speech more
before, because I skip my script and I became nervous every time
after I forgot or skip my script. And some people said it was kind of
a short speech.
If you could change anything about what ANYONE ELSE
DID, what would it be? WHY?

There was one kid that came to me and listen to my speech but
when I asked him if he has any question, he actually said don’t eat
me. So I thought it might be a action that express the
misunderstanding of my presentation. It’s not the child’s fault, it
might because of my problem that I didn’t explain everything in a
perfect way.

In general, your living museum experience was better than what I
thought, I thought I couldn’t even make it because I had a really
long script that was hardly to memorize. Then it turns out that I
wasn’t nervous at all, it was a relax presentation.

Thank you for your honest reflection!
