Starcraft 2 protoss Strategy Guides - Every About Units
1. Starcraft 2 Protoss Guide – All Units Explained By Marvin Choi of YourStarcraft2Guide.Com
2. When it comes to Starcraft 2 units, Protoss definitely have some of the strongest and powerful units in the entire game. So in this brief Starcraft 2 guide I’m going to cover who knows every Protoss unit and how to use them properly. Visit YourStarcraft2Guide.Com
3. Protoss Units: Probe – Probes are workers for the Protoss. Probes are used to gather resources and warp in structures, and as well as used for early game scouting. Zealot - Zealots the most basic unit for the Protoss. Zealots are strong, but they are melee units. While they are good against other melee units such as Zerglings they are usually pretty weak against most range units and obviously air units. Stalker – Stalkers are one of my favorite units for the Protoss. Stalkers are general strong against most units of its rank, and once Blink is upgraded they are even more powerful. 4. Sentry – Sentries are very useful support units of the Protoss. They deal very little damage but they have amazing support abilities such as Forcefield, Guardian Shield, and Hallucination. Sentries should be kept to the back of your army to avoid being crushed first in a faceoff. High Templar – These are also support units like the Senty. However, while all of Sentries special abilities are for defensive purposes, High Templar’s special abilities deal mass damages. Dark Templar – DT are like Zealots expect they are permeably clocked (invisible). They are relatively vulnerable compare to other units of its rank, but DT can deal a massive 45 damage to anything he get his hands on. The best ways to use DT are early rushes when your opponent is not prepared for clocked units. Visit YourStarcraft2Guide.Com
5. Archon – Very powerful Protoss units, but they are also very expensive. In order to get 1 Archon you must first produce 2 High Templar and fuse them together kind of like Dragon Ball Z if you know what I’m talking about. Archons deal splash damage to both Air and ground units however they are pretty slow, clumsy, and has a very smart range of attack. Best use of Archon is against Zerg players or Terran Bio units. Observer – Another support unit and it is good for detecting clocked units and very good for scouting due to the fact that Observers are permanently clocked as well. 6. Immortal – Another very strong range unit for the Protoss. A bit costly to make but overall it deals massive damage to all ground units, and the best part about Immortals is its ability to take massive amount of damage due to the Hardened Shields ability. Colossus – One of the most annoyed and powerful unit in the game. Colossus is expensive, but they are very powerful. It has massive range and deals massive splash damage to all ground units. However, Colossus are very vulnerable to air units since they only attack ground units, so they should always be protected and surround by other ground/air units. Lastly Colossus has the specially ability to climb over cliffs. Visit YourStarcraft2Guide.Com
7. Warp Prism – Warp Prism do not deal any damages. They are air transportation units that allow you to load and unload units. However, the biggest strength of a Warp Prism isn’t its ability to fly units across the map, but its ability to go in to Phase Mode that acts like a temporary Pylon. Phoenix – Phoenix is an air unit that is good for anti-air. It moves very fast, and has to the ability to move and shot. However like I said it can only attack air units. There is a special ability that allows the Phoenix to lift up light ground units into to air called the Graviton beam. Visit YourStarcraft2Guide.Com
8. Void Ray – One of the best air units in the game. Unlike the Phoenix, Void Rays can attack both air and ground and what makes them so strong is that their attacks deals more damage when they are charged up. Carrier – I personally don’t like Carriers in Starcraft 2. In the original SC Carrier are powerful, but in SC 2 they are kind of weak for the cost. Anyway the Carrier itself deals no damage, what you have to do is build Interceptors once you have the Carrier. Each Interceptor cost 25 Minerals and a maximum of 8 can be built per Carrier. 9. MotherShip – This is the most expensive unit in the entire game I believe. I personally don’t often use the mothership because it is expensive, and moves very slow. However it is one kick ass support units that clocks all you’re other units and structures within a range of 10, and it have the ability to Mass Recall units and create a black whole.
