“At work, one of my white colleagues made a relationship status of him
dating a black female coworker as a joke. What was triggering about that
was the subsequent “lol, lmfao, i’m dead, hoo child” comments from both
white and black colleagues alike. Since the black woman hasn’t said
anything about it, I haven’t said anything. I can’t get over the fact that he
put on display how much of a joke he thinks it would be to date this girl. It’s
so misogynistic and racist, and I just DO NOT want to see this guy because
it just makes me sick to my stomach. I don’t even want to be in the same
room as this guy. Ugh. This happened a couple of days ago, but I ain’t
leavin shit in 2013, I’m taking this knowledge with me and remembering.
