7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. Check-In (all teams MUST be registered by 8:30 a.m. – no
exceptions!); no on-site registrations accepted

Horse Evaluation Career Development Event
Three performance classes (Performance classes may include:
Western Horsemanship, Hunt Seat Equitation, Western Pleasure,
Western Riding, Reining, English Pleasure (Saddle Seat), Hunter
Under Saddle (Hunt Seat), Trail and Hunter Hack. Performance
classes will be judged as presented (unsoundness to be penalized
accordingly).
Three halter classes ( Halter classes may be represented by the
following breeds and types: Quarter Horse, Conformation Hunter,
Appaloosa, Arabian, Paint, American Saddle Bred and Morgan; All
halter classes will be judged as sound.)
Two classes of reasons (Reasons must be shorter than 2 minutes.)
Scantron will be used
Event will follow National FFA guidelines
Patterns will be provided to the teams prior to the start of the event for
all classes requiring patterns.

Food:
We anticipate the morning events will end by 11:30 and then the
afternoon event will commence immediately after lunch. On-site
concessions for purchase will be available while waiting for awards.
