3. PROJECT PROFILE # 2:
Project Description: MWatch is an intelligent service enabler for managed services. It
consists of applications, which are integrated together. It has a built-in monitoring and
management tool encompassing their entire infrastructure, from desktops to servers,
increasing IT and service efficiencies and reducing costs. There is a plethora of disparate
tools and processes today to manage different elements of any IT infrastructure, resulting in
fragmented and inefficient. The built-in management tool has been developed in Java which
in turn integrated with spring and hibernate frameworks.
Project 1:Auto Remediation
This project aims to develop a framework like as SOA Service by which we can automate
the activities which are repeatedly performed by the desktop support engineer to fix similar
issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
▪ Responsible for design and development of Auto Remediation Module which is able
to handle multiple customer devices/servers/services with a single instance.
Environment: Java, Apache CXF, Jetty Web server , JBoss 4.x server, Apache Tomcat, Apache
Service Mix.
Project 2: Environment Access Control terminal (ENACT)
This project aims to develop a virtual environment by which the Desktop Engineer can
connect to the Remote IT Infrastructure (Servers and Network Devices) securely. Access will
be given dynamically to the engineer’s machine once he is eligible with Port Forwarding
and Dynamic Proxy Technique. All the operations performed by the engineer are recorded
and can be playable like a movie during Audit. This gives the customer a secure feeling.

4. Roles and Responsibilities:
▪ Responsible for design, development and customization of Secure Access Gateway
which provides system access to the Support Engineer desktop dynamically.
▪ Responsible for design and development Secure Access Gateway throw which the
user can connect to the servers on the role and access basis without knowing the
servers password. Which can be called as User based Security.
Environment: Java, Apache MINA and Swings.
Project 3:Password-Vault Service
This project aims to develop Access Vault which supports ENACT. This exposes a REST
base web-service which helps to find the user level access permissions. This stores all the
data securely on the file system.
Roles and Responsibilities:
▪ Responsible for design and development of Access Vault.
▪ Responsible for design and development of GUI with JQuery which is used to input
data and unlock the Access Vault.
▪ Responsible for design and development of REST and SOAP based services to
Access Vault.
Environment: Java, Jersey, Apache CXF, Jetty Web server, JQuery and Apache JNDI.
Project 4: Digital Signature
This project aims to develop a Script Vault which stores all the customer specific scripts used
in process automation. The script stored in the vault is digitally signed and encrypted using
algorithms like RSA and AES. This protects the scripts getting executed in customer’s
machine from tempering.
Roles and Responsibilities:
▪ Responsible for design and development of Script Vault.
▪ Responsible for design and development of REST and SOAP based services to
Access Vault.
▪ Responsible for design and development of Script Poller service which fetches all the
approved scripts, signs, encrypts and pushes it to the Script vault.
