This letter is written as a general reference for University of Maine at Augusta Graduate Kelly
Jean Doering.
I have known Ms. Doering for more than two years as an advisee, and as a student in my
"Addictions" related courses. Kelly is an intelligent, sincere, focused and energetic young
woman, with high motivation for employment in the helping professions. She graduated with a
very high Grade Point Average in a program that provided both breadth and depth of
preparation. Her primary passion is working in individual and group activities with "at risk"
adolescents.
I believe that Kelly has the maturity, preparation, and insight necessary to be a contributing
member of any agency staff. She will be an excellent addition to any professional community. It
is a pleasure to have the opportunity to write this letter of reference.
