Hope Drops Campaign
2
Analysis of Project
The Project below was undertaken to determine how various media can be used to market the
products in
the Hope Drop campaign. In our case, the Project involves marketing our campaign, which
entails marketing Hope
Water company. We, therefore, took several actions to ensure that our brand got out to the target
audience. These
steps were instrumental in achieving a target audience that was essential for the progress of our
producer. We
chose Hope Water company, to create our campaign which is Hope Drops. The first step, after
brainstorming with
my colleague in WhatsApp group we named our campaign, Hope Drops. I started designing the
logo by connecting
our logo to the real company logo. Second step involved creating social media platforms to
market the company’s
product and aware our targeted audience of it. This step was essential in creating a foundational
starting point for
our marketing strategy as team leader and Media relation Executive. A successful marketing
strategy was essential
to sell the product to the HCT community.
Third step included the strategic development and distribution of content across the relevant
social media
platforms. For instance, I developed various posts shared across Instagram and Facebook such
as, activates,
awareness, marketing, quotes, poster, brochure, and videos. In addition, I created YouTube
Channel and posted
videos and podcast to ensure they reached as many people as possible. However, this would be in
line with the
relevant social media marketing strategy as discussed by the team. This involved the
identification of the target
audience and employing various social media tools, such as boost posts, to reach the audience.
As a result, our
Instagram gained followers who were potential customers for the product. Our marketing plan
involved four
pillars, product, price, place, and promotion. This marketing mix was essential in identifying
where, when, and
how we would sell to our potential clients and still add more clients.
The last step, as marketing side I have distributed brochure and water bottles to the students in
campus
with QR code direct them to our Instagram page which will rise the interaction.
3
Resources Used to complete the Project.
There are several resources that were instrumental in the completion of our Project. These
resources were
complementary to each other and led to the success of the Hope Drops campaign. These
resources were distributed
in various areas where they were productive. For instance, we employed several social media
boosting tools that
were instrumental in increasing our social media overall reach for our poster. We, therefore,
developed three social
media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, website, email, and YouTube. These five platforms were
instrumental in
Pushing our campaign. As a result, we developed posts and videos for these platforms to ensure
that they stayed
active to keep our followers eager for our posts. Our Instagram and Facebook pages have
infographic posts that
are theme based.
I employed tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Canva to create quality posts for our Instagram
and
Facebook. We also employed Adobe after effects to create a video for our YouTube channel.
Other tools employed
include Wix, which was essential in creating our website. There were other sites that involved
the development
of QR Codes from QR code generator website, which were linked to our online sites. These QR
codes were
instrumental in leading our clients to our website. As a result, these steps led to us achieving
project goals such as
product awareness and increased online traffic. Another resource employed was the human
resource, one of our
Project's pillars, As we had famous influencer to share Hope Drops account in his Instagram
page. Also, I used
Zoom application and WhatsApp to set interview with the company members and set meeting
with my colleague.
With my able team, we created product awareness and achieved online traffic of potential
customers from
where we were able to launch a targeted market for various individuals. My team and I
masterminded the Project
and ensured that we collectively achieved our objectives as an organization through task
allocation.
Other tools include the use of an outlook email for official communication as well as using
telegram channels and
WhatsApp groups, which were essential in passing information to our target audience in collage.
This technique
ensured we maintained contact with our clients and get more followers, also we used Hope
Water company
website hopewater.co to get more information and helping me to create the social media posts.
Finally, I have
done voice over for the videos and used a program called Aegisub to create subtitle for the
videos.
4
Challenges Faced
We faced several challenges in launching and marketing our campaign. As a result, Hope Drops
campaign,
encountered some hitches. However, we were successful in completing our Project. The first
challenge we face
involves the cost of acquisition and use of resources. These resources include the use of Canva to
design posts for
social media. This, however, was only one of the challenges. As a media relations Executive.
Also, that I had to
buy water bottles from the company to be photographed for designing purpose and share to HCT
students however
I couldn’t buy 1 cartoon as the minimum should be 10 carton which costs more than what I need.
I faced a
challenge that included popularizing our campaign to the HCT community. I developed creative
and innovative
ideas which would help me to identify a suitable clientele point. This meant familiarizing myself
with the students
and introducing the concept of Hope Drops into the collage to ensure the product was selling.
My strategy,
therefore, involved starting a new trend that would increase our bottled water demand.
Another challenge faced was creating a website as it was the first time for me. at the beginning I
forgot to
save the work which aim to delete everything, and I had to repeat all the steps again and save it
each time so it
will not be deleted.
Another problem that we faced was poor internet connection during zoom meetings with Hope
Water
Company. This resulted in poor coordination of activities, rescheduling of meetings, and a
language barrier,
However, there employee wasn’t speaking English language which was a big challenge for me to
translate the
interview with English subtitles and edited for a podcast which took around 6 hours working. As
a result, our time
management was poor. However, we managed by planning a Gant chart of activities that needed
to be submitted
in time to keep the campaign running. By coming up with a time schedule, it became easier to
manage meetings
and reschedule late meetings despite the limited time we had.
5
6
I wish I spent more time on designing more posts for social media accounts. Also, starting early
creating my
website because it was difficult and need more time and focusing, as well as interviewing an
English employee
speaker to make it easier for me design the podcast without subtitle due the shot time I have.
Unfortunately, these
ideas did not match with my experience in this project.
7
Personal Growth.
After completing this Project, I learned several aspects of digital marketing and project
management along
the way with leadership skills. These lessons were from my personal experience and capabilities
and my team's.
I learned as team leader and media relations executive, that my responsibility to play my part and
ensure that the
Project was successful. This feat included exuding leadership qualities and decision-making
aspects of the team
that would propel our campaign forward and showed me the skills that I have about myself.
Another aspect of personal growth I picked is the skill of how to run a business. As a project, this
campaign
required dedication and commitment on a personal level. As a result, my input was as essential
as my team
members. As a team leader the business decision was discussed with the final say resting in my
arms as a result,
I had to consider every member’s opinion and weigh on how it would benefit Hope Drops
campaign.
The personal lesson I learned is the importance of teamwork. As a budding company, Hope
Drops campaign
required a collective effort with everyone performing a particular task. As a result, this collective
effort was
instrumental in raising the performance of our campaign. the most important benefits from
completing this project
were learning new skills and software’s such as, creating a website, and translating methods.
Overall, I’m very
satisfied with what I achieved in this project with this limited time.
8
Evaluation of Achievements
Before the commencement of this Project, some objectives were set that aimed toward the
success of this
company. These objectives acted as guiding factors for our Project, with each object bearing a
significant corporate
milestone signature for our campaign. At the beginning of the project, I had ideas to design new
Customized water
bottles related to our campaign but after designing them I found out that I need to focus more on
marketing the
real design that the company is using for their bottles and aware the target audience of it so there
will be no
confusion.
Future Developments
If the Project begins again, I would alter several aspects of the Project. This includes time
management,
resource allocation, and labour specialization. I would create a more flexible schedule with better
time frames to
ensure every group member completes their task in the allocated time. This change can only
come from extensive
business research before undertaking the Project. Another future development would involve
setting up online
digital marketing tools such as Hoot suite which can control our marketing campaign from one
central point and
provide analytics on the performance of the Hope drops campaign. I suggest for the students who
will do this
project in future to do research of the latest smart technology related to their topic which will
help to complete
their project in efficient way.
9
Desired Grade
There are several factors to consider while allocating marks for this Project. Although I did
extensive
research on the Project, the results were excellent, with several hitched. This includes the internet
connection,
time and flexibility and finally moderate reception of our campaign. On the other hand, I did
many tasks all alone
in limited time with extra efforts such as translation on podcasts and videos, while following up
in team members
achievements and guiding them as a team leader. Therefore, I would award us an A+.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with what I achieved in this project with this limited time. 8 Evaluation of Achievements Before the commencement of this Project, some objectives were set that aimed toward the success of this company. These objectives acted as guiding factors for our Project, with each object bearing a significant corporate milestone signature for our campaign. At the beginning of the project, I had ideas to design new Customized water bottles related to our campaign but after designing them I found out that I need to focus more on marketing the real design that the company is using for their bottles and aware the target audience of it so there will be no confusion. Future Developments If the Project begins again, I would alter several aspects of the Project. This includes time
  • 5. management, resource allocation, and labour specialization. I would create a more flexible schedule with better time frames to ensure every group member completes their task in the allocated time. This change can only come from extensive business research before undertaking the Project. Another future development would involve setting up online digital marketing tools such as Hoot suite which can control our marketing campaign from one central point and provide analytics on the performance of the Hope drops campaign. I suggest for the students who will do this project in future to do research of the latest smart technology related to their topic which will help to complete their project in efficient way. 9 Desired Grade There are several factors to consider while allocating marks for this Project. Although I did extensive research on the Project, the results were excellent, with several hitched. This includes the internet connection, time and flexibility and finally moderate reception of our campaign. On the other hand, I did many tasks all alone in limited time with extra efforts such as translation on podcasts and videos, while following up in team members achievements and guiding them as a team leader. Therefore, I would award us an A+. 10 Media Plataformas QR CODE https://qr.link/E2w7eG YouTube page: https://youtu.be/lohz5j6OqPQ Instagram page: https://instagram.com/hopedrops.ae?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=10008654579315 Hope Drops website page: https://hopedropsae.wixsite.com/hopedrops Email page: Hopedrops.ae@outlook.com
