had to be re-filmed.

Havingusedthissoftware
previouslyIwasconfidentinusingit
againand didnot face any issuesor
disadvantages.

on a MacBook, to create my film.
iMovie allowedme tocutshotsand
piece the movingimagestogetherin
a timeline tocreate myshortfilm. I
alsoaddednon-diegeticsoundto
my shortfilmusingthissoftware by
dragginga piece of instrumental
musicto where Iwanteditto play
from(the beginningandending
scenestosuggestcontinuityof his
disorder).
UsingiMovie, Icreatedan
interestingmatchcut editshowing
the character continuouslyeating
differentpacketsof crisps.A match
cut is oftenusedtosuggestpassing
of time ora checkintoreality,this
was especiallyeffectiveinourshort
filmasit suggeststothe audience
that Benny’sdailyroutine isto
excessivelyeatandshowsthatit is
an ongoingissue of his.
Thissoftware waseasyto use after
playingaboutwiththe editingtools,
however,anissue Iencountered
withthissoftware isthatthe
transitionswere verybasic(wipe
up/down,fade anddissolve) soIfelt
my transitionswere notvery
creative.Howeverthe restof the
editingof myfilmwaseasyto put
togetherandmakesup forthe lack
of creative transitions.
