The TabEvac is a baby evacuation apron created for use
in emergencies for the safe evacuation of both newborn
and premature babies from special care baby units
(SCBU).
The TabEvac is constructed using robust cotton drill
material, comes with foam padded shoulders to bring
comfort to the operator and has colour coded binding
and side ties. This baby evacuation apron is made in a
couple of variations – with a single pouch pocket on the
apron’s front or a twin pocket option.
There are also a further three pockets on the front of the
TabEvac as well as a pocket for storing a cylinder on the
back of the apron. This allows for manual ventilation if
necessary.
