As a Leader Who Do You Spend Time Working With
Sharing a story about turkeys, chickens and eagles
as it relates to the home based business industry.
In the home business industry you will run into
three different types of people, the Turkey, the Chicken
and the Eagle.
You should love all people but as you grow your
home business your time is valuable and you
should only spend your time with people deserving
of it.
The first type of person is the Turkey, they are
the nay sayers, they try and bring you down and
squash your dreams. They bring no value and
you could talk to them till you are blue in the
face and they will never get it and they just
gobble away your time.
The second type is the Chicken, you love the
chickens as most of your organization will be
comprised of them. You can’t make a chicken
fly, maybe for a few foot flight but that’s it..
You can tell a chicken to do something but
most of the time they will just cluck away
doing what they want or procrastinating
on taking any action.
The third type is the Eagle, the eagle will soar
and not let anything stop them from achieving
their goal. You can tell an Eagle to do something
and they get it done. An Eagle does not require

2. constant hand holding. Some chickens become
eagles but it is very rare.
So obviously you want to spend the majority of
the time you have available to help your eagles
as they will take action and continue to learn
and grow and will become your best team
leaders in the future.
What I love about marketing on the internet is
for the most part I am only dealing with chickens
and eagles. Most Turkeys wont put their email
address in the capture form.
If you want success bad enough you will find a
way to get it. Constant personal development
combined with a clear vision and lots of action
makes it happen.
