PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Am a student at Kenyatta University taking Economics and Finance at third year but currently in
internship position at Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS) accounts department. Am well versed in
accounting calculations and software tools like Sage ERP Accpac , Quick Book, ICDL (International
Computer Driving License) containing; PowerPoint, Microsoft word, excel, access etc. Economic
Analysis and software tools like SPSS, SAS and Excel.

2013-2016: Degree course in Bachelor of Economics and Finance at Kenyatta University.
2009-2012: Student at Nyeri Baptist High school where I attained the Kenya Certificate of
Secondary Education (KCSE) with a mean grade of (B-).
2000-2008: Student at Booker Academy where I attained the Kenya Certificate of Primary
Education (KCPE) with a mean grade of 404 marks out of 500 marks.

2. WORK EXPERIENCE.
Am currently in internship position at Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS) accounts department
where I:
• Receiving and recording incoming invoices.
• Matching invoices to the respective supporting documents and booking them to the Sage ERP
Accpac system.
• Ascertaining withholding tax.
• Bank reconciliations through Sage ERP Accpac system.
• Preparation of management reports.
• Preparation of payment vouchers by use of Sage ERP Accpac system.
• Receiving and banking revenue.
• Preparing revenue collection reports.
• Writing cheques by use of Sage ERP Accpac system.
• Filing of documents.
• A little bit of Payroll.

VOLUNTEER
As a member of IYF (International Youth Fellowship) I participated in lots of volunteer work. To
mention one: on Saturday 12th
October 2013 I volunteered in community service at Kenyatta Hospital
where I helped in cleaning a section of hospital and attending to some patients.
As a member of CITAM (Christ is the answer ministry) and Quakers church, I participated in lots of
children’s home visits including Happy Life Children’s home just to mention one.
