calibration of energy meters, reference standards, type testing of energy meters & CT-PT Calibration
& testing. It also provides onsite calibration services with mobile lab.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 Calibration / Type testing of energy meters & Transducers - Against standard IS 13779,
IS14697, IS-15884, IEC 62055-31(prepayment meter), IEC62052-11, IEC62053-21, 22, 23,24,
EN 50470, CBIP304:2008 and CBIP-325, NMI-M6, AS62052-11, AS62053-21, 22,23etc.
 Calibration and Testing of HT-LT Meters, Apex Meter & Accucheck LT+ and HT+ , Current
Transformer testing and transducers.
 Testing On Energy Meter as per standards Accuracy Requirements, Influence quantities,
Electrical Requirements, Insulation property tests etc.
 Climatic testing on energy meter Dry test ,Cold test,Damp Heat Cyclic test and Mechanical test.
 Magnet tests and Development testing- AC magnets and DC magnet (stray and Abnormal) and
Tamper testing on the meters. Development testing as per customer requirements.
 Testing on CT and PT as per standards IS2705:1992 (part-1,2,3,4) – Accuracy
Requirements(Ratio and Phase Error ) ,Short Time Current , Insulation property , temperature Rise
test , Short time over Voltage test and Instrument Security Factor (ISF).
