1. Shooting recount
On Sunday i got up at 8:30 to go to a shooting competition. I came second in it last year by one
clay target.A clay target is a little disc that shooters shoot for practice, for shooting ducks like me
or to win competitions like the Olympic games. Me and my Dad got up got the guns and we were
on our way to Ararimu for the shooting competition. When we arrived we went down a huge drive
way to a farm.The EPCM were holding this tournament for the presidents cup. in it there are
stations that you go to and shoot as many targets as you can. So we signed in and went to the
first station ,when we got there we went up and called PULL and one clay target flew out of the
trap. I didn't do any good on that one but that didn't matter because they were hard targets.
Usually there are five or ten targets at one station. Then we went to the next station i got a couple
but still not that good.then we went to the first one that had ten i did really good on that i got
seven out of ten. Next it was the hardest one of all the rabbit (as we call it ) i did really good for
how hard it was i got two out of five. Then the other one that had ten i did the best on this
station I got eight out of ten. After that we went to another hard on i only got two out of five on
that one.Finally the last target this had ten on it as well i only got seven out of ten.
After all our stations had been shoot at we sat Down to wait for every one else to finish. So as we
were waiting i had an american hot dog and a drink, we had to wait a while because there were
still quite a lot of people still shooting.
When every one was sitting down they announced the winner of the junior cup and the adult
cup,but first was the third and second place winners.then they said the winner of the junior cup
and it was... ME!!!!!!! i was really happy to win this year and then the winner of the adults cup a
guy called Miles.
