Clear Book-20 pockets and your best attitude and effort.
GOAL: I want for you to be both English literate and media literate. I want to make sure you have the tools to
continue learning well beyond your college days. I want you to have access to the knowledge available in the
world so that when the day comes that you are a leader in our society, you will be able to make wise decisions
on behalf of yourself and others.

EXPECTATIONS:
欠席の場合： Please make sure to pick up (or download) any work that you missed. If there was a quiz or
exam please make sure to schedule a time to do a make-up test. Please ask for these things politely.
遅刻の場合：It is good manners to apologize and explain yourself before sitting down. I would appreciate if
you do this. You can say: “I’m sorry I’m late.”
I overslept. （寝坊）
There was a traffic jam. （渋滞）
I missed my train/bus. （∼を遅れた）
I forgot my ______________. （∼忘れた）
etc...
