1. Plot line
• The Raymond family, Rosa and Zac, have just moved into the most
peaceful, isolated part of the Canadian woodland. They are a young
couple who have two kids; 17 year old Bella and 7 year old Luke.
Luke has been diagnosed with complete blindness since he was 2
years old but has still remained a steady, normal child. However,
two weeks into living there Luke reveals his imaginary friend, Pyro,
who tells him what to do. At first, his imaginary friend ‘tells’ him to
stuff a normal 7 year old would do, such as annoying his big sister
or messing up his room. But it soon progresses. Luke begins to talk
about a person who his parents have never heard of. And his
opinions on this man get increasingly aggressive. He tells his
mother about how the man shouts at him in his sleep, and he
needs to stop him from doing bad thangs. Then one day, Luke
struggles to drag a blood-drenched man through the door who was
barely conscious and Rosa and Zac come to realisation of what
Luke’s ‘imaginary friend’ truly is.
