That is something different from other tours to Manu, also within our activities in the field is that of survival in the jungle, putting into practice many secrets of the Jungle Travel,  / o Experimental tourism community is in harmony with Mother Nature and share experiences and good to see as the natives living there and what are their economic activities for the various activities we use tents, hammocks, camping equipment and all the features necessary to provide a comfortable and have a great stay and direct contact with nature. <br />And among one of our principles on which our company is supported is SAFETY, la is the most important and that is why we are professionals who specialize in adventure trips and expeditions in the Jungle Travel.<br />  <br />PALOTOA NATIVE COMMUNITY 5D/4N<br />The program can change according to the weather, river conditions and wishes of the group.<br />Jungle Travel DAY 1 CUSCO - PILCOPATA<br />We leave from Cusco by private bus, first stopping to visit the pre-Inca burial towers of Ninamarca. We then drive through the mountains to get to the typical and folkloric town of Paucartambo. Here we will take a short walk around the town before continuing on to Acjanaco, the highest point and entrance to Manu National Park. From here we will continue into the cloud forest and on to San Pedro where we will walk for about 1 hour to observe the National Bird of Peru, the Cock-of-the-Rock and many different kinds of monkeys, plants and flowers. We arrive at Pilcopata in the evening where we will sleep in a local lodge. <br /> <br />Jungle Travel DAY 2 PILCOPATA – PALOTOA<br />After breakfast we will continue by private bus to Atalaya. On the way we will stop to observe a coca plantation. We will also stop at a view point where you can look out over the surrounding expanse of jungle and rivers. From Atalaya we take a motorized boat to Aguas Calientes where we can bathe in the natural hot springs. In the afternoon we will return up river to Palotoa, stopping to visit the native community Shintuya on the way. In the afternoon we will walk in the jungle for several hours to learn about and appreciate the many different kinds of animals, birds, plants and flowers. If we are lucky we will see monkeys. We will return to camp for dinner and sleep in tents at the Palotoa campsite close to the Alto Madre de Dios River.<br /> <br />Jungle Travel DAY 3 PALOTOA <br />We will walk though the jungle to the Palotoa River, bringing all our equipment and food. On the way we will appreciate many different kinds of animals; such as tapir, collared peccaries, monkeys, coati; birds such as eagles, parrots, toucans, medicinal plants, flowers, and the giant trees of the jungle. Upon our arrival we will swim in the river and fish. After dark we will try to catch Caimans. We will spend the night in a lodge in the local community.<br /> <br />Jungle Travel DAY 4 NATIVE COMUNITY PALOTOA<br />After our breakfast we will visit the native community Palotoa (Mastsiguenga). In the afternoon we will return by raft, paddling until the mouth of Palotoa River and then we will return up river by motorboat to Salvacion Lake where we will see the Prehistoric bird, the Hoatzin. We will spend the last night on the sand bank close to the Madre de Dios River next to a bonfire and enjoying some drinks.<br /> <br />Jungle Travel DAY 5 SALVACION LAKE – CUSCO<br />We will get up early to visit the parrot clay lick and after breakfast we will return to Atalaya by boat where our private bus will waiting to us to take back to Cusco via the cloud forest and Paucartambo. We then drive through the mountains to get to the typical and folkloric town of Paucartambo. Here we will take a short walk around the town before continuing on to Acjanaco, the highest point and entrance to Manu National Park. From here we will continue into the cloud forest and on to San Pedro where we will walk for about 1 hour to observe the National Bird of Peru, the Cock-of-the-Rock and many different kinds of monkeys, plants and flowers. We arrive at Pilcopata in the evening where we will sleep in a local lodge. <br /> <br /><a href=quot; http://www.palotoatoursperu.com/quot; > Jungle Travel </a> DAY 2 PILCOPATA – PALOTOA<br />After breakfast we will continue by private bus to Atalaya. On the way we will stop to observe a coca plantation. We will also stop at a view point where you can look out over the surrounding expanse of jungle and rivers. From Atalaya we take a motorized boat to Aguas Calientes where we can bathe in the natural hot springs. In the afternoon we will return up river to Palotoa, stopping to visit the native community Shintuya on the way. In the afternoon we will walk in the jungle for several hours to learn about and appreciate the many different kinds of animals, birds, plants and flowers. If we are lucky we will see monkeys. We will return to camp for dinner and sleep in tents at the Palotoa campsite close to the Alto Madre de Dios River.<br /> <br /><a href=quot; http://www.palotoatoursperu.com/quot; > Jungle Travel </a> DAY 3 PALOTOA <br />We will walk though the jungle to the Palotoa River, bringing all our equipment and food. On the way we will appreciate many different kinds of animals; such as tapir, collared peccaries, monkeys, coati; birds such as eagles, parrots, toucans, medicinal plants, flowers, and the giant trees of the jungle. Upon our arrival we will swim in the river and fish. After dark we will try to catch Caimans.
