2.  Since 2002, Judge John Bowman has
served in the Juvenile Dependency division
of Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit Court. In
addition to his work on the bench, Judge
John Bowman is the current president-elect
of the Stephen R. Booher chapter of the
American Inns of Court (AIC), a professional
nonprofit group that works to advance
legal practice in the United States through
various programs and activities.

3.  As part of its efforts to ensure the vitality
of local Inn chapters, the AIC holds
regular Inn leadership summits in cities
across the United States. The regional
leadership summits provide local Inn
officers with the opportunity to network
with national leaders and staff, as well as
top members of other local Inns in the
area.

4.  In addition to keynote sessions on topics
related to the overall mission of the AIC,
each summit features general and
facilitated sessions focused on effective Inn
practices, leadership and governance,
recruitment, and other matters critical to
the continuity of local Inns. Currently, there
are a number of leadership summits
scheduled in 2015. More information and a
