My name is Asterix
and I’m the hero of
a lot of adventures.
I am from a very small area in
France called Gaul. I am a Gaul.
3. My village is celebrated as the only part of my country not
yet conquered by Julius Caesar and his Roman legions.
I am not a violent person but I enjoy a good fight
when there's cause.
I like travelling very much and I have been to many
different places: Egypt, Spain, Germany, Italy, etc.
4. I am small and
thin but when
I have the
magic
potion
I have a
super-human
strength.
I have a lot of friends.

His favourite food is wild
boar.
He likes
going on
new
adventures
with me.
7. Getafix is the venerable village druid.
He prepares the magic potion which gives us superhuman strength.
He is not
young ,
he is old,
but he’s
very wise.
8. One of the most popular persons in the village where I live is Caco-
fonix, the bard.
He is a musician.

He plays the lyre.
Some people in the
village like his music
but some of them
hate it.
9. Vitalstatistix is also a very popular person in the tribe.
He is the chief. He is a fat and hot-tempered person.
He isn’t very old. He’s about forty.
He likes eating very much but he doesn’t like walking.

baths), Obelix, Dogmatix (he thinks
he is always right), Asterix, Vitalsta-
tistix (he’s a positive fellow), Getafix,
