2. Aerodynamic of the study of moving gas (in
this case air ) over a body in motion and
how the air flow affect the body’s moment
through the flow. Car aerodynamic make
the car move safer and make it full
efficiency. It is use in most of the car today
specially in case of race car because there is
more need of aerodynamic in high speed

3. In design of aircraft.
In the study of aerospace industry.
In design of automobile.
In the construction of building and
skyscrapers
In design of turbines.
In the wind mill.

9. WIND TUNNEL TESTING [initial test]
A wind tunnel is a tool used in aerodynamic research to study the
effects of air moving past solid objects. A wind tunnel consists of a
tubular passage with the object under test mounted in the middle. Air is
made to move past the object by a powerful fan system or other means.
The test object, often called a wind tunnel model, is instrumented with
suitable sensors to measure aerodynamic forces, pressure distribution,
or other aerodynamic-related characteristics.

10. Number of software’s are developed for the
analysis and optimization of aerodynamics in
automobiles. For the design and analyzing
aerodynamics the most commonly used
software’s are CATIA , HYPERMESH, ICEMCFD,
FLUENT and other CFD software.

12. Provide batter downforce.
Minimize the drage.
Speeds your car properly.
Moment arm.
Better handling.
reducing wind noise.
12
13. The only thing is that down force always
comes with extra drag.
Complex shape design.
13
14. Earlier cars were poorly designed with heavy
engines , protruding parts and rectangular
Shapes due to which they consumed large
quantities of fuel and became unaffordable all
theses factors lead to the development and
need of aerodynamics in the design of cars
now it would be fair to say that all most all
cars are tested for getting the optimum
aerodynamic configuration.
