03 years of field experience on ElectricalPower& Control System, withan

PRACTICAL WORK EXPERIENCE:
After completion of my one year ‘Graduate Training’ in GRSE Ltd, Kolkata, now I am associated
with “M/s POWERCONTROLENGINEERS,PUNE” fromJanuary’2014 onwards, currently
working as a ‘Commissioning & Service Engineer’ in an Indian Navy project (P-28) at Kolkata.
Natureof Work:
 Responsible fortotal Installing and commissioning and all troubleshooting of the
controlpanels of Main Engine, Generators, Switch Boards, AC Plant & etc on project site.
 Associated witha team of both Mechanical & ElectricalEngineers, Conducting all types
of Trials & Testing mainly on the PowerGeneration and Distribution system of the Ship.
 Installation and implementation of PLC Programming (ABB-KT 97) throughout the
system and editing & updating with customer’s demands on time to time.
 General Electricalmaintenance, Quality Assurance checking,Safety device checking,load
trials of the Generators with all the trial authorities like ABS, WOT-IndianNavy,IRS etc.
 Associated withDA excitation and AVR system, Main SwitchBoard PowerDistribution
system, heavy machinery starters and controls panels, remote serial link communication
system and etc on the project.
 Responsible formaintaining of daily Techno-commercialbilling, job reports and site
meetings withthe customers.
Achievements:
 Completed successful commissioning of the main PowerGeneration controlSystem in
the ‘Indian Navy P-28Projectwhich includes INS KAMORTAandINS-KADMATT with
Indian Navy & GRSE Ltd, now working onboard INS KILTAN,the3rd ship of this project.
 Worked and successfully commissioned various projects withthe team of others top
Companies like ‘Cummins India Limited’ ,’Wartsila India Limited’, ‘GRSE Ltd’,
‘Kirloskar oil Engine limited’, ‘GE India’, L & T , MTU India & etc throughout india.
 Responsible in installation and inspection of Emergency PowerGeneration System, also
attached with the commissioning of Indian Naval Ships like LCU, MOPV, WJFAC etc.
INDUSTRIAL TRAININGS:
I was associated with M/s ‘GardenReachShipbuilders&EngineersLtd’ asa “Graduate
Trainee” through BOPT,Govtof India for one year. During my training period I was engaged in
‘PowerGeneration and Distribution’ system of ASW Corvette Projectof Indian Navy.

Nature of Training:
1. Carried out the trail and testing of Main SwitchBoard (MSB) & Alternators (DA) which
includes AVR & Governor trials, Safety checks, Load trials & APMS Trials etc.
2. Engaged in the main Electricalworkshop & supervise all the installation and maintenance
workof many types of equipment like Main switch board, Diesel alternator, Differenttypes of
Motors, Transformers, Starters and Control panels sets and etc.
