PORTUGAL PRESENTATION. VALUES WORKED IN ERASMUS PLUS EVA PROJECT 2017

1. TWO YEARS OF PROJECTS
ERASMUS+EVA
EXTERNATO COOPERATIVO DA BENEDITA - from 2015-2017

2. →Every month, each group of four that participated in Erasmus+ did a
project about the theme that was assigned. There were nine themes in
total:
•Respect;
•Freedom;
•Solidarity;
•Responsibility;
•Inclusion and Tolerance;
•Share;
•Participation;
•Commitment;
•Honesty and Confiability.
INTRODUCTION

3. The objective was to make
students from our school to
treat each other with respect.
We also worked to prevent
bullying and discussed the
classroom rules.

RESPECT

4. “Respect the others and you will be respected”, Catarina.
“Respect is something
that everyone should
have”, Cristina.
“Respect is the basis of
everything”, Alexandre.

5. November, 2015
FREEDOM
Our goal was to make more people
aware of children's rights, every
European citizens' privilege and
defending other people's rights.

6. “If someone doesn't have freedom they
aren't living, they're only surviving.”

7. December, 2015
SOLIDARITY
This month, we talked about
solidarity. We wanted to let
everyone know that they
should take care not only of
themselves, but of others as
well: help those in need,
support each other during
difficult times.

8. “Giving is also receiving. By giving
something to someone, you receive
their smile and gratefulness, and
that's better than any other gift you
could ever receive.”

9. January, 2016
RESPONSABILITY
The theme for January was
responsibility. Our objective was to
let students know they should
resolve their differences in a
peaceful way and we also spread
awareness about taking care of the
environment.

10. “All actions have consequences, so being
responsible and thinking before acting is
the wisest choice one can make.”

11. February, 2016
INCLUSION AND TOLENRANCE
We wanted to let everyone be
aware of different cultures and learn how to
accept diversity.

12. “It doesn't matter if someone
looks different from you. We
are all human so, in the end,
we are all the same and want to
be treated the same way.”

13. March, 2016
SHARE
March's theme was share. Our
goal was to share ideas, assets
and knowledge.

14. April, 2016
PARTICIPATION
“There's not much we can do by ourselves,
but if everyone works together and
cooperates there's a lot more we can do.”
We talked about participation in April. We
wanted everyone to share something with
others, as well as work and make decisions
in groups.

15. May, 2016
COMMITMENT
“If I don't compromise with myself and/or
with others, I'll end up living an empty life.”
Commitment was our theme for May. We
talked about how we should be more active
and we should work to achieve better
results.

18. Our group went to a
nursing home with the
objective of playing some
games and doing some
activities with the elders,
since many of them don't
get visits from their
families and sometimes
feel lonely because of it.

HONESTY AND TRUST
We talked about how we should
always tell the truth and be loyal.
This was also the topic we
approached for the mobility in
Slovakia.

20. SHARING IS CARING
This day the Erasmus
team hosted an event to
promote sharing. The
idea was to bring cake
for all the students in
exchange for food for
those who needed it.

22. ERASMUS+ FAIR
In this event the Erasmus+ team hosted a fair to present all the countries that
are envolved in this project. Every country was represented by a group of
students that prepared a game about it.

24. PRIMARY SCHOOLA few students from various groups that were participating in the Erasmus+
project went to a primary school to talk with some students about their fears
and play some games with them about honesty and respect.
