Maintain, operate, and repair motorized mechanical equipment used in in daily operations
in a safe and efficient manner. The equipment used are listed as followed; brake
actuators, batteries, start motors, alternators, mechanical fuel pumps, hydraulic
cylinders/pumps/control valves, drive shafts, universal joints, service brake shoes, dis
brake pads, etc. and other equipment to support a variety of operations.
Adjust engine speed valves, carburetors, boom hoist brakes/clutches, dry disc clutches,
steering brakes, track tension/assemblies, fuel injector racks and steering unit brake

systems; Launch and retrieve ribbon bridge bays.
Assist in the assembly and maintenance of military fixed and float bridges.
Prepare ribbon bridge equipment for air transport.
Operate the crane on the Dry Support Bridge (DSB).
