There is no cancelling of this event!
Should there be weather conditions or other unforeseen situations,
the field will participate in a
“Texas Hold „em” Contest.
That‟s right… All contestants will be given $10,000 in
“Absolute Golf Adventures Poker Chips.”
If, for reasons beyond our control, the golf tournament cannot be
completed, the winners will be determined by the highest twenty-four
“cash” holders at the end of a prescribed period of time. If both days
are lost due to weather, two four-hour periods will be used for the
“Texas Hold „em” Contest. If only one day is lost, one four-hour period
will determine winners.
28. Terms and Conditions of this event:
All entries must be received by 5 pm (EST.) on August 22, 2013. Each team will consist of four
amateurs. No team’s combined handicaps can exceed 54. No team will be allowed entry with less
than 40 as a combined team handicap. It is preferred that each team consist of amateurs with
handicaps of 4 to 10, 11 to 14, 15 to 18 and 19 to 24. Tournament Director will monitor these
guidelines and exceptions must have prior approval. Play will be conducted under USGA rules with
any and all local rules determined by Hawk’s Landing Golf Club. Please bring rain gear. Play will
proceed under all weather conditions except if there is lightning present. All players must wear soft
spikes.

Stated prize levels based upon 80 player field. Prize amounts comply with USGA rules
pertaining to amateur status.
•Senior golfers 60 and older will play from senior-designated tees.
•Entry deadline is August 22nd, 2013 for guaranteed team spot in event.
•It is best for each player who may have to cancel to notify their
captain for a replacement or to get their own replacement.

pm Pre-Tourney Team Party with refreshments/hors d'oeuvres (cash bar for beer,
wine and liquor) in the “Orlando Room” located just off the Resort lobby.

30. Player Cancellation:
Please understand we have to have stringent cancellation policies due the fact
we are reserving 80 to 120 rooms, setting menus for over 300+ meals,
reserving the golf course for 2 and a half days and setting into motion over
$25,000.00 in prizes and gifts, hiring personnel for staffing, private shuttle
schedules, printing large banners and signs and many other services. All of
these require contracts (with no-refund policies) that are signed by Absolute
Golf Adventures.

This cancellation policy refers to a player cancelling before event.
In the event a player has to cancel, they are encouraged to find and/or assist the
Team Captain in finding a replacement.
100% refund at cancellation - only if player cancelling provides a replacement.

No refunds inside of 30 days of Tournament (Sept. 30th, 2013).
