My Educational Background Of School
My educational background began with me attending public school for about three years, then I
went to catholic school. Middle school was the best part of my education. In middle school I was
given the opportunity to express myself creatively through dance, drama, writing, and with my
voice. I attended a school of arts for one year; I noticed some changes that I was not familiar with
when I was at student at catholic school. While in catholic school we studied a curriculum that
included science, math, language, and social studies, but religion was dominant over all the
material. At the school of the arts, I studied the same materials but the religion was absent, instead

I think that many of the schools today merely try to prepare the students to move on to college and

Starting in Nana's Nuggets preschool, which had a lot of interactive learning, I began my first
venture into organized education. This was a very warm environment, same as in my home, where

Seward Elementary School, located in the same buildings as the Middle and High Schools, where I

meaningful. Often parents aren't involved because they are not aware of ways that they can help.

give them some knowledge about what is going on and also makes them feel like they are capable
of helping and can be an asset to their child's education. It may also be helpful to suggest ways that
parents can aid their child in preparing and studying for tests. Helping parents feel useful creates an
essential cooperative learning environment.
It is also important to go beyond parental involvement in your classroom. It is also necessary to
help foster a community that supports and is also active in the local schools. There are a variety
of methods for accomplishing this goal: ask community leaders to lead projects in the school or
come in to talk on career day, or sponsor an ice–cream night at the school and invite all the children,
parents, and community members for a social gathering. As a teacher, I could also call the local
newspaper to ensure that the student's accomplishments, successes, and/or talents are recognized by

The teachers taught me well, while my peers taught me more about life. I made my best friends
in middle school and we are a family now. I cherished the time I spent in middle school. I was a
top student who was doing well, had many friends, and was making a name for myself in sports
and extracurricular activities. Then once again graduation rolled around and I had to leave all of
the good things behind. But I was ready to embark on an education that was more geared towards
my future. High school was an easy transaction. I felt like I had the education and maturity level
of a young adult. I knew I could handle all of the work and stress that was going to be dealt out in
my classes. I noticed that high school was a lot like middle school and that I could handle the
schedule. I did not really have any close personal relationships with any of my teachers like I had
had in the past at my other schools. I only really liked two of my teachers out of the four years I
was at school. Both of them were my math teachers for my junior and senior year. The last two
