Case Study 1:
After parade, Mitchell’s squad gathered for dinner before heading home. They were
examining CD-ROM games which one of them had just bought. While they were taking
their meals, a regular at the coffee-shop came to their table. He offered them an
opportunity to play computer games at his home nearby and says that he has a Local Area
Network set up and he needs other players.
Mitchell, as the most senior NCO, is interested. But, he also realises that one has to
beware of Greeks bearing gifts. How should Mitchell respond?

Case Study 2:
During parade, Thomas noticed that one of his squad Boys, Darrell, appeared to be
unusually quiet. Normally, Darrell would be one of the more enthusiastic boys in the
squad.
During soccer, Darrell uncharacteristically lashed out at his opponent after what seemed
to be an ordinary challenge for the ball. Darrell was sent off and stormed off the pitch.
How should you Thomas react to what you he haves witnessed?
