Teaching
2009-2014 Private Music Instructor—Lake Geneva region Teaching electric and acoustic guitar to
children, teens and adults. Curriculum includes basic technique, understanding musical
styles, improvisation, repertoire and applied jazz theory
2005-2009 Adjunct Professor, Long Island University, NY—Digital Audio, School of Media Arts
Introduction to Digital Audio I & II, Undergraduate and graduate level in multi-cultural
environment. Created new syllabi, lectured on Digital Performer software and composition,
assessed and coached students presentation skills, including DJ’ing. (Taught MOTU
Digital Performer & MachFive, ProTools and Reason and software)
2001-2005 Consultant, Greenwich House Music School, NY—Designed the curriculum and co-
taught an accredited course for the High School Of Art and Design in Manhattan on World
Music with Dr. Brian Vermeersch, director of Greenwich House Music School. Arranged
live in-class performances of musicians from Cuba and Haiti. Acted as purchase
coordinator for sound equipment, provided installation and technical assistance
