From Luke 17:1-10 onwards, we are told by Jesus not to stumble others. How? By exhibiting the forgiveness of God? How? by having faith, not the volume of faith, but the object of our faith, and how do we show this faith? By remembering Luke 17:11-19. Which is to remember who is our saviour, who is the source of our hope

5. 17:11
On the way to Jerusalem
Jesus was going through
the region between
Samaria and Galilee.
17:12-13
As he entered a village,
ten lepers approached
him. Keeping their
distance, they called
out, saying, "Jesus,
Master, have mercy on
us!"

6. What is the message for TODAY?
Jesus attracts ALL people:
Mixture of peoples: Jews and Gentiles and
Samaritans; and
All NEED the Lord… and here, all SEEK the Lord
What does this mean to us today?

7. 17:14 When he saw
them, he said to them,
"Go and show
yourselves to the
priests." And as they
went, they were made
clean.

8. What is the message for TODAY?
Jesus meets the needs of ALL people:
People in His Kingdom
People Not Yet in His Kingdom
People labelled as Enemies of His People
What does this mean to us today?

9. 17:15 Then one of them, when he
saw that he was healed, turned
back, praising God with a loud voice.
17:16 He prostrated himself at Jesus'
feet and thanked him. And he was a
Samaritan.

10. What is the message for TODAY?
The 9 did what was natural, the 1 did what
was more than that, which is what really
matters:
It is not wrong to rejoice; it is wrong to only
rejoice…. The extra counts… who do we show
our gratitude to this day?

11. 17:17 Then Jesus
asked, "Were not ten
made clean? But the
other nine, where are
they?
17:18 Was none of
them found to return
and give praise to
God except this
foreigner?"
17:19 Then he said
to him, "Get up and
go on your way; your
faith has made you
well."

12. What is the message for TODAY?
How do we remember our
hope?
•It is an INSIDE thing….
•When something good
happens… STOP! PAUSE!
Remember your hope! Thank
HIM! Worship Him! Obey Him!
