Jesus tells the parable of the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin, reminding us that everyone here on earth are equally valuable in the sight of God, and no matter how evil or cruel or sinful you think someone else is, no not sit on Jesus' throne and act as the Judge, leave that to Him. In the meantime, allow your life to be fruitful by letting Him sit on the throne of your life

6. 15:1 Now all the tax collectors and sinners were
coming near to listen to him.

Jesus attracts ALL people:
Those that know they are sinners and that they
need God; and
Those that place themselves next to God and
thinks they can decide who needs God…

8. 15:3 So he told them this parable:
15:4 "Which one of you, having a hundred
sheep and losing one of them, does not leave
the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after
the one that is lost until he finds it?
15:5 When he has found it, he lays it on his
shoulders and rejoices.
15:6 And when he comes home, he calls
together his friends and neighbours, saying to
them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my
sheep that was lost.'
15:7 Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in
heaven over one sinner who repents than over
ninety-nine righteous persons who need no
repentance.

The shepherd leaves the 99 to go save the 1:
Which is more valuable?
• If you are one of the 99?
• If you are the 1?
• If you are one of the tax collectors?
• If you are one of the Pharisees?

Do we get irritated by the conversion of others?:
Do certain people DESERVE to be saved?
Are certain people TOO EVIL to be saved?
Who is more important in the hierarchy of those to be
saved?

12. 15:8 "Or what woman having ten
silver coins, if she loses one of them,
does not light a lamp, sweep the
house, and search carefully until she
finds it?
15:9 When she has found it, she calls
together her friends and neighbours,
saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have
found the coin that I had lost.'

The woman rejoices and celebrates when
she finds the lost 1:
Which is more valuable?
• The 9 coins?
• Or the 1 coin?

Jesus and the Heavens
•They value EVERYONE….
• They celebrate when ANYONE

We cannot!
We need to remember we are NOT on Jesus’ throne, and should get off our own thrones
as well.
