While we specialise in retail projects, the team also has wide reaching

the Housing Corporation, English
Partnerships and an increasing

14. HEALTH AND SAFE T Y MANAGEMENT
On-site audits of health and safety management systems are carried
out by our Health and Safety Management specialists. We also provide
health and safety training audits and file production.

MANAGEMENT
A range of building surveying services are provided by our Building
Surveying & Facilities Management team including:

application of the Regulatory
Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005,

Asbestos Management

NJSR Project Services can arrange
and co-ordinate asbestos surveys
and subsequent management of
on-site works. We can provide
on-site audits and associated
reports of approved asbestos
contractors’ health and safety
management systems.

modernisation, including space
planning for coffee shops and Per

façades across a wide range of
diverse building designs.

expansion programme with multiple
contract conversions of both high
street and shopping centre properties.
We’ve also refurbished H.Samuel and
Ernest Jones jewellery shops,
completed nationwide new store
builds and modifications for Boots and
the Co-op and recently completed a
store in Hounslow for Asda.
We’ve completed store fit-outs for
Vision Express, built new catalogue
fulfillment and distribution centres
and delivered new Calvin Klein store
designs in the UK and the Middle East.
We’ve provided technical CDMC
Ernest Jones support for the flagship Mexx store in
Oxford Street, London, designed
multiple projects within the
vision express Wayfayrers shopping arcade in
Southport and the Gyle shopping
centre in Edinburgh and designed
over 20 projects for FCUK.

designed more than 30 health and
fitness centres nationwide, most
recently fitting out a number of JJB
sports club shell schemes to
include swimming pools, spas, full
gym facilities and retail units.
We are lead architects on Floral
Hall in Southport, a £20m mixed
use waterfront development
incorporating a hotel, casino, bars
and restaurants, an exhibition
space and public realm works.
Other recent projects include
sports halls for the YMCA, a rugby
clubhouse refurbishment, a new
build 100 bedroom budget hotel,
interior design and refurbishment
of Wagamama restaurants and golf
and country club developments.

For M&S Money, we have carried
out a nationwide roll-out of over
one hundred state-of-the-art
Bureau de Change and ATM
installations, combining high tech
facilities with eco-friendly materials.
We’ve also injected fresh thinking
into a long list of design and
construction projects for the
former Swiss Life Group, Halifax
Building Society, and Leeds
Permanent Building Society.

scheme design and builds. We
work with commercial developers,
local authorities, housing
associations and private clients on
both new build and conversion

Experience ranges from luxury city
centres penthouses to special
needs housing, high density urban
new builds to listed mill

managed award-winning
conversions of listed country
houses for private clients.
We are registered with the BRE

to carry out assessments under the

Accredited in Building) certified
architects are highly skilled in the
conservation and restoration of listed
buildings and are registered to carry
out English Heritage and lottery

As consultant architects for several
churches in the North West, we
provide specialist advice on
compliance with the Church
Measures Act 1955 and have driven a
10 year programme of repair and
restoration at the Holy Trinity church
in Southport.
We have also designed a Gujurat
Hindu Temple and community centre
with bespoke stonework and interiors.
