2. FADE IN:
INT. RESTAURANT
JOSH, a male young adult, is sitting at a table in a dark posh restaurant lit only by
mood lights and is seemingly on a date with someone, which can be assumed by
what he is saying.
JOSH
I hope you’re enjoying the dinner.
He looks down for a second, and then brings his head back up to continue
speaking.
JOSH
You look amazing, with your golden
dress with brown dots all over.
Must have taken a while to look that
good…
He looks down again and smiles to himself for a while, then brings his head back
up.
JOSH
You know, I’ve been waiting a long time
for this moment…
He continues to look in the direction of the ‘person’ he is talking to, as the camera
slowly pans out enough for the audience to see that he was actually holding a
Maryland cookie. After the camera stops moving, he proceeds to devour the
cookie in a cookie monster style.
The advert then finishes with the screen blurring out, and an image of the
Maryland Cookies packaging appears in the middle of the screen, with the slogan
‘cookie love’.
