2. Exodus 3:11-14 (Message Bible) Moses answered God, "But why me? What makes you think that I could ever go to Pharaoh and lead the children of Israel out of Egypt?" 3. TAKE HOME • I am more than aware of my inabilities. But I can not and will not focus on these. • I am created exactly as God intended. I am intended for great things. I have purpose. • With God I am powerful. I can do all that God has called me to do. I can make a difference in others.

7. MOSES! HE'S OKAY TALKING TO THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE. BUT THE THOUGHT OF DELIVERING HIS PEOPLE FROM BONDAGE HAS HIM SHAKING IN HIS BOOTS!
8. FACING A NATION WITH THE CALL TO 'FOLLOW ME INTO THE DESERT' WOULD MAKE MOST LEADERS EXPECT A LITTLE RESISTANCE. Moses did not release this the very thing he was created to do.
13. GOD'S ANSWER: I WILL BE WITH YOU! Exodus 3:12 It's not about your credentials, Moses. It's all about me. You'll be the messenger, let me be God.
14. 2. WHO WILL I SAY HAS SENT ME? Won't this seem a little odd, me showing up with a message from a god out in the wilderness? There are lots of gods in Egypt. What is your name?
15. GOD'S ANSWER: Tell them "I AM" sent you. I am who I am. The ever present One.
16. 3. AND WHAT IF THEY ARE A HARD SELL? Exodus 4: 1 Don't you think this whole story will seem a little unconvincing? You've got to give me something more than words to speak.
18. 4. I'M NOT MUCH OF A PUBLIC SPEAKER Exodus 4: 10 It's just been these sheep and me out here in the bush. My vocabulary isn't much developed and my commands are pretty limited. "Over here." "Hey, get back in the flock." It seems you'd send a motivational speaker.
19. GOD'S ANSWER: Moses, you are the man. Now get down to Egypt! Furthermore, I'll let you brother do most of the talking.
