Fathers play an essential role in the lives of their children. God has commissioned them to be spiritual leaders to lead their childrens/home closer to God. Proverbs 20:7 The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children after them. Fathers, your childrens are one of the biggest ministries in your life right now. Be proactive in raising them.

not give up even though at times

righteous living.

4 Parents, don’t be hard on
your children. Raise them
properly. Teach them and
instruct them about the Lord.

occur while the child is still in a
position to be shaped and
directed in the right way.
• You should walk the talk.
–Communicate and model to
your family that the most
important relationship in life is
with God.

–A great father not only
preaches righteousness (2
Peter 2:5) but walks with
God leaving his children a
great example to follow
(Gen. 6:8-9).

–A good father is faithful to the
Lord.
–If Abraham would have failed
as a father it is doubtful that
he would have had the title
“father of all them that
believe” (Rom. 4:11)

• Concentrate on acquiring
wisdom and knowledge,
not wealth - Pro 24:3-4
• All too often fathers made
many of life’s decisions with
materialism as a dominant
factor.

care of his family and those in

put his trust in Christ.

• A child that is not disciplined by
his parents, but left to do his own
thing will do those things which
his parents are ashamed of.

Punishment and discipline can make
children wise, but children who are
never corrected will bring shame to
their mother.

• A good dad is a diligent
man whose schedule
includes time for his wife
and children.

love more than time. Prov.

the whole personality of
their relationship with
their children if they just
learned to be positive,
and influence things in a
positive way.
