Learning from our surveys, we decided to change our business model: Create a free news service system and pay users for submitting news headlines.
Here is our new value proposition:NGOs who form the DNA of Rwandan economy (highest paid Rwandans are often working for them) and with their support we should be able to support Rwanda Headlines. We will also include an answering machine system so non-English speakers can listen to news.By collecting news from the citizens we have an added advantage with news agencies and can sell them news.
Our second survey declared that our new value proposition was liked.
We received positive feedback from Kigali.
We will have test users through out Rwanda, even though Kigali has most users but we also want our users in rural Rwanda who may benefit strongly from our service.
