Matthew 24:3
Tell us, when will these things be, and
what will be the sign of your coming and
of the end of the age?
“These are
but the
beginning of
birth pains.”
Mark 13:8
Birth pains (labor pains)
often begin with
contractions that are
somewhat “mild” and
infrequent. As the labor
continues, these pains
become more intense,
more painful, and more
frequent until they result
in a baby’s birth.

Mark 13:14
But when you see the abomination of
desolation standing where he ought not to
be (let the reader understand) . . .
Matthew 24:15
So when you see the abomination of
desolation spoken of by the prophet
Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the
reader understand).
Mark 13:14-23
Mark 13:14
But when you see the abomination of
desolation standing where he ought not to
be (let the reader understand) . . .
Matthew 24:15
So when you see the abomination of
desolation spoken of by the prophet
Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the

Mark 13:14-23
Mark 13:14
But when you see the abomination of
desolation standing where he ought not
to be (let the reader understand) . . .
Matthew 24:15
So when you see the abomination of
desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel,
standing in the holy place (let the reader
understand).
Daniel’s 1st reference. . .
Daniel 9:27
And he shall make a strong covenant with
many for one week, and for half of the
week he shall put an end to sacrifice and
offering. And on the wing of
abominations shall come one who
makes desolate, until the decreed end is
poured out on the desolator.
Daniel’s 2nd reference. . .
Daniel 11:31
Forces from him shall appear and profane
the temple and fortress, and shall take
away the regular burnt offering. And they
shall set up the abomination that
makes desolate.
Daniel’s 2nd reference. . .

abomination that makes desolate is set
up, there shall be 1,290 days.
The Antichrist
2Thessalonians 2:3-4
Let no one deceive you in any way. For that
day will not come, unless the rebellion
comes first, and the man of lawlessness is
revealed, the son of destruction,who
opposes and exalts himself against every
so-called god or object of worship, so that
he takes his seat in the temple of God,
proclaiming himself to be God.
Mark 13:14-23
Mark 13:14
But when you see the abomination of
desolation standing where he ought not
to be (let the reader understand),
Mark 13:14-23
Mark 13:14-16
Then let those who are in Judea flee to
the mountains. Let the one who is on the
housetop not go down, nor enter his
house, to take anything out, and let the
one who is in the field not turn back to
take his cloak.
Mark 13:14-23
Mark 13:17-19
And alas for women who are pregnant
and for those who are nursing infants in
those days! Pray that it may not happen
in winter. For in those days there will
be such tribulation as has not
been from the beginning of the creation
that God created until now, and never
will be.
Mark 13:14-23
Mark 13:20
And if the Lord had not cut short the
days, no human being would be saved.
But for the sake of the elect, whom he
chose, he shortened the days.
Mark 13:14-23
Mark 13:19
For in those days there will be such
tribulation as has not been from the
beginning of the creation that God
created until now, and never will be.
“These are unique words in all the teaching
of Christ. Everywhere else He urges His
followers to take up their cross and follow
Him, to be bold in their testimony, and to
take a stand for Him even amid the worst
kind of hostility. But the abomination
of desolation will change all that. It will
virtually signal the end of Christ’s
testimony to the world and the beginning
of His judgment against His enemies.”
“Once it occurs, He will no longer
command His people to go into all the
world with the Gospel, but instead will
urge them to flee to the mountains for
their own safety.”
(John MacArthur)
The Second Coming
Mark 13:14-23
Mark 13:21-23
And then if anyone says to you, ‘Look,
here is the Christ!’ or ‘Look, there he is!’
do not believe it. For false christs and
false prophets will arise and perform
signs and wonders, to lead astray, if
possible, the elect. But be on guard; I
have told you all things beforehand.
Mark 13:14-23
Revelation 9:20-21
The rest of mankind, who were not killed by
these plagues, did not repent of the works
of their hands nor give up worshiping
demons and idols of gold and silver and
bronze and stone and wood, which cannot
see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of
their murders or their sorceries or their
sexual immorality or their thefts.

The abomination of desolation that will
be a sign that God is about to unleash his
wrathful judgment against humanity ….
Humanity continuing to defiantly
oppose him and seek to lead God’s
people astray
Mark 13:24-26
But in those days, after that tribulation,
the sun will be darkened, and the moon
will not give its light, and the stars will
be falling from heaven, and the powers
in the heavens will be shaken. And then
they will see the Son of Man coming in
clouds with great power and glory.
Jesus is coming back!
And the Scripture is clear: when he
returns, all the promises of the Bible will
be fulfilled! Jesus Christ will ultimately
and finally establish his eternal kingdom
(read through Revelation 19-22 for the
details)!
John 16:33
I have said these things to you, that in
me you may have peace. In the world
you will have tribulation. But take heart;
I have overcome the world.
1 Corinthians 15:24-26
Then comes the end, when he delivers
the kingdom to God the Father after
destroying every rule and every authority
and power. For he must reign until he has
put all his enemies under his feet. The last
enemy to be destroyed is death.
Will you be part of that
Kingdom? Or will your
eternal destiny include
separation from God
and all that is good in
that place of judgment
the Bible calls hell?
