3. What are the impacts?
Over 25,000 homeless children receive Night Night Packages each year.
An average of 10,000 volunteers connect and improve their communities annually.
250,000 children's books have been donated since 2005.
Tens of thousands of bad dreams vanquished.
6. How Can You Make a Difference?
(We thought you’d never ask)
7. Volunteer or Donate
• Project Night Night wants your volunteer effort to be as
successful as possible.
With that in mind, we have developed a program that
allows you to benefit
homeless children in your local area.
1. Determine the number of Night Night Packages to
complete.
2. Order tote bags from Project Night Night at $3.50
each (this covers the cost of the
tote and shipping to you)
3. Fill each tote bag with a new blanket, a new/like-new
stuffed animal, and
new/like-new children's book.
4. Deliver your assembled Night Night Packages to a
shelter on our list or that you
find. We can help! In the Bay Area, we will likely request
that you deliver
to our drop-off locations.
5. Ensure that the homeless children in your
community feel special!
*Due to privacy concerns, most volunteer deliveries will
be made to shelter administrative offices and not to the
homeless children directly.
• -- Blankets should be NEW or newly
handmade. We appreciate quilted, fleece, knit,
crocheted, "no-sew," and store-bought
blankets. The ideal size is 50" x 60" or smaller.
-- Books appropriate for ages 0 to pre-teen.
-- Stuffed Animals smaller than 20
inches. Stuffed animals must be NEW at this
time.
(Stuffed animals used in our program may be
"like-new.")
-- We are unable to pick-up donations. Doing so
takes time away from our time in the
office and at the shelters.
