This storyboard provides a summary of the documenter's career journey leading to enrolling in the MCBS program at Full Sail University. It describes their experience freelancing in live events, working notable events in Austin. Though they enjoyed the work, opportunities became sporadic. They looked to further their education but wanted a program that incorporated their experience. They found Full Sail's MCBS program accommodated their needs of continuing to work while pursuing higher education, allowing them to achieve their dream of a career in media.

Before I started the MCBS program I was freelancing in the live events industry.

3. This provided me the opportunity to work on many notable events, including the MS150, the
Capitol 10K, Austin City Limits Music Festival, SXSW, the Governor's Inauguration and the
Texas Book Festival.

4. I had always thought I wanted to work in the digital media field.

5. Initially when I launched my school career I studied Radio/TV/Film, but it was not until
I moved to Austin I enjoyed the benefits of my decision to enter this field.

6. Cypress Hill
Being able to work concerts of my favorite music groups I had only seen on television or the
web was, at the time, a dream come true.

7. But then, my opportunities for employment became sporadic.

8. I would reach out to my contacts I made during this journey for permanent
employment opportunities but nobody answered the phone calls.

9. Because of that I began looking to get
back into school.

10. I had the work experience and an excellent reputation around town for my work ethic, but lacked the credentials for what I
wanted pursue.

11. Finding a school that incorporated my experiences with a schedule that would work for
me was my main objective.

12. Because of that, I was able to find Full Sail, which allowed me to work and continue my pursuit
of higher education.

13. Until I finally made the initial contact with Full Sail, I thought finishing school was not in my future and ever since I decided to
pursue my passion for media in the MCBS degree program, I realize this dream can come true.

to stay cool during the stressful times and Andy Kaufman as Latka reminds me to have fun with all I do.
